The Super Water Sport of Flyboarding
BRAVO to the action scene in Bang Bang, in which Hrithik Roshan emerges from the sea on what appeared to be a water jetpack; honestly, it was the only thing in the movie that attracted me attention (the rest of it was UGH!). This menacing little machine drew my attention, and all I wanted to do was see whether anything similar existed, which, to my delight, it does! Anyways!
It’s known as a flyboard, and it’s the newest addition to the world of adventurous water sports. It was created in 2011 by Franky Zapata (a well-known French jetski racer), and it is a hybrid of a jetski and a jetpack. A hose connects a flyboard to a jet ski and propels water up to 15 meters in the air, allowing riders to perform dolphin-like movements and dive underwater from a great height. The rider’s feet are supposed to control the board’s direction of travel, while their hands are expected to keep it stable.
In India, you may flyboard
Flyboarding has grown in popularity around the world since its inception. Flyboard Championships are conducted every year in Qatar, and many adventurers from Thailand, the United States, France, and Holland compete. Tourists to Goa, where flyboarding can be experienced on Baina Beach, have discovered a new enthusiasm for the sport in India. This adventure water activity was first established in November 2012, and it is slowly drawing adventure enthusiasts. Learning to ride a flyboard is difficult at first, but one can execute diving, precision flying, underwater flying, and aerobatics such as spins, backflips, twists, and dolphin swimming with practice.
So, anytime I’m in Goa, I will try my hand at this newly introduced water activity, and I hope you’ll do the same. Let’s hope India wins a medal for us in the Flyboard Championship someday!
Don’t you think it’s about time to start performing some water activities now that summer is here? If you believe water sports are the most important summer activities, we strongly advise you to read this blog. For your convenience, we’ve compiled a list of the three most popular water sports and where they’re practiced worldwide.
Surfing is a high-adrenaline sport. You only need a huge wave and a surfboard to participate in this sport. You can surf in some parts of the world, but we recommend you learn the basics first. The Pacific coast is the best place to surf, with Hawaii being the most popular. We also recommend that you look into the different types of surfing. You may also kiteboard and windsurf.
Rafting is the sport for you if you’re looking for a fun activity to do with your friends. This sport can be done anywhere you can feel the arena, in flowing and wavy water, usually rivers. The Colorado River in the Grand Canyon is the world’s most popular location for this sport. You may see the Grand Canyon’s beauty while having an adrenaline-pumping time with your pals.
Parasailing is the ideal water sport for everyone who wishes to try parasailing for the first time. In this activity, you can experience the sensation of flying by being tied to a parachute via a boat. It is a must-do activity for individuals who want to try paragliding, yet it is not as dangerous as paragliding. We can conclude that this sport, which is primarily practiced in the Caribbean, is an excellent choice for those who enjoy water sports.
